Sorry Donald, Joe – we're actually going with Ariana this year

Hello,

Oh. My. Word. What a busy week! We've been on a little jaunt to shoot our latest Cover Story which will be with you in just a couple of weeks. Today has seen some big album releases from Gorillaz, clipping. and Adrianne Lenker PLUS the return of Ariana Grande, as president no less. Would Ari in the Oval Office be such a bad option, really? She licks donuts, but is nice to animals, so... probably fine?
A KINDA FUCKED-UP FRESHERS
What's student life like right now? Sophie Wilson caught up with some students around the country about how they're coping with the various quarantine regulations – and the music that is getting them through.
ARLO'S ALBUM IS ON THE WAY
Our current reigning cover star, Arlo Parks, announced her debut album, 'Collapsed In Sunbeams' this week. For our very sunny cover story, El Hunt had a chat with her about dad dancing, death and making connections in these turbulent times. Give it a read.
LEAVE BILLIE ALONE
The world disgraced themselves again last week by obsessing over a teenager's body. Jenessa Williams argues why the focus should be on Billie's immense power to affect this election, not what she looks like in a tank top.
LET'S GET SCHPOOKY
Goth Christmas is fast approaching and while it might not be the absolute rager that we'd like it to be, we'd encourage you to still plan an epic costume and flail around the living room. Here's our playlist of undeniable Halloween bangers, new and old, to get your fright on.
NOODLE DOES OUR JOB FOR THE DAY
This week's 45s Of The Week are reviewed by none other than Gorillaz' woman of the hour, Noodle! We'll be honest, if we filed such sparse copy we'd be fired, but we'll give Noodle a pass because she's famous and, well, a cartoon. Read her take on the week's best new tracks.
