Google MasterSaaS week 1 + big changes to corporate training in 2020
Last week, we announced the launch of MasterSaaS, a sales training masterclass for SaaS companies, with Google’s Head of Sales Training.
It’s a project I’m super proud of and we were voted Top #5 product of the day (!) on Product Hunt. HUGE thank you for those who supported us.
So, this is week 1.
We spent a lot of effort on creating a great video experience for you all, but we all have our preferred modes of learning and some prefer to read. So we’re offering you both options.
Google's tips for building your sales training strategy
Impactful sales training is much more than just a great PowerPoint deck or a motivational speech from the likes of Tony Robbins.
It starts with a great overall strategy. In this week’s lesson, Brendan has five great tips and techniques for developing your own fit-for-purpose sales training strategy.
Don’t forget to leave your thoughts and reactions at the end of the post, like this:
(In case you're wondering, the reason I’m pushing for this is I’m the only one leaving reactions and comments and if this sad situation continues my website PM will remove this feature that costs us $99 a month.) #Save360blogReactions

How corporate training is changing and what you can about it
So, I know there are words and phrases you're sick of hearing. Like:
But there’s no denying that 2020 is a pivotal year where everything is forced to change.
Some for the worse, some for the better. Including corporate training.
Here are the 3 biggest factors that are changing corporate training, and most importantly, how to adapt. (pandemic sayings-free, I promise.)
By the way, we’re currently working on an extensive CLO playbook on how to help L&Ds get a spot in the C-suite.
If you’d like to get a preview, comment 'CLO playbook' in the comment section of the blog post and Ben will get in touch.
Or you could reply to this email. But preferably in the comment section. Because #Save360blogReactions.

The 5 stages of grief buying HR software (and how long each takes)
When considering a task like purchasing a new HR solution, it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
The best way to tackle it? Break up your search into smaller chunks.
Once you do that, the evaluation starts to run a lot smoother.
The typical process for buying a software like an HRIS has 5 defined phases:
Internal Alignment, Shortlisting, Evaluation, Selection, and Implementation.
Here’s the full guide.
And that's it for this week!
Take care and you'll hear from me soon 💛,
Joei
P.S. If you have any questions for feedback, hit reply – I read every email and will get back to you personally.
