Forbes - Sweden Reverses Course

As millions of Americans take to the polls, experts continue to warn that the worst has not yet passed when it comes to the Covid-19 pandemic. Former FDA commissioner Scott Gottlieb says that America, which is currently counting almost 1,000 deaths a day from Covid-19, will enter a “grim couple of months” this winter. White House coronavirus task force coordinator Deborah Brix has also urged “aggressive action,” even though that goes against the claims from President Trump that the U.S. is still rounding the corner.

In other news, Sweden, praised by some people for its approach to handling the Covid-19 pandemic without lockdowns, has officially joined other European countries by
announcing new restrictions as cases surge in the EU.
