If you want people to recognize it, you can’t change it too often, you have to pick something that stands out on a timeline, and you have to make it unique. This way people will better remember you, even if they don’t remember your name.

The best motivator: progress. The faster the better.

Motivation killer: lack of progress.

Know this, and design accordingly- whether you wanna learn the piano, get fit, or make more money.

Add micro-goals, focus on lead measures.

The fitness world has done a good job here.

You have to prove something works before you build a system or process around it.

Otherwise you’re trying to scale something that doesn’t work.

Don’t build systems or processes too early in your business. In the early days, you’re still trying to figure out what works.

I'm enjoying #cyperpunk2077 but it's one of the least immersive open world games I've played in years.

Many core gameplay mechanics break immersion worse than bugs.

Most dialogue options are meaningless.

Many story/gameplay options lead to the same outcomes.

Disappointing.
