Instead of offering a percentage discount, offer 1 or 2 months free

Long-term subscription plans help with cashflow and boost revenue. It's common practice to incentivize these with a percentage discount, but you can get more takers by offering dollars or free months.

When LOLA offered a percentage discount for a 6-month plan, people selected it roughly 8.5% of the time. That's not bad. But when they offered dollar discounts, that number increased to 19.5%. And when they offered it in terms of free months, it increased to 22.94%. The value of ten dollars is easy to understand, as is the value of getting a month for free. But a percentage doesn't feel as solid, and it requires customers to do the math themselves. That little bit of friction had a big impact on LOLA. It should be noted that LOLA creates physical products, but this trend should translate to other types of subscriptions as well.

Remove the navigation bar from your landing pages to increase conversions

That navbar on your landing page is a distraction, and distractions can tank your conversions. Keep your landing pages laser-focused and improve your conversion rates by removing unnecessary links.

When Hubspot tested landing pages for top-of-the-funnel (TOFU) and middle-of-the-funnel (MOFU) offers, they found that removing links improved conversion rates. Specifically, removing the navbar, footer, and social media share links increased conversions by 0-4% for TOFU offers and 16-28% for MOFU offers. 

That being the case, it's pretty crazy that 84% of landing pages still have navbars. Removing these links is easy so it's worth a shot. But keep in mind that certain links (e.g. privacy policy, etc.) may need to stay put, depending on the requirements of your industry.
