The deadline to apply to the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch is Friday, March 19 at 8pm PT. Due to COVID-19, Summer 2021 will be the third batch in a row to be fully remote.

YC hiring events (all virtual) to network with founders and find your next job
YC is hosting virtual events to help you meet great YC founders and find open roles at top YC startups. All YC startups attending are well-funded and actively hiring; each event starts with founders giving pitches for you to get familiar with the business and vision, followed by a virtual expo hall for you to network with the founders and their teams directly.

The Pre-Product Startup and the FDA
A frequent question we get at YC is “when do I start thinking about the FDA?” Obviously, there is no single answer to such a complex question, but this blog post outlines some ways to think about it.

FDA: Orientation for Early Stage Startups
One of the most common topics YC Bio founders ask us about is the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the broader regulatory environment. Obviously, with a topic this broad, there’s no way to give a single or simple answer; one could write a whole book on the subject (and many have). But as a starting point, we wanted to touch on some of the most important concepts bio founders should think about. We’ve distilled them down to their essence, and we hope this article will point you in the right direction as you move forward with your startup.
