We want to better support founders by giving them access to YC whenever it’s best for them, regardless of our batch timeline. While it has always been an option to apply year-round to YC, we’re now formalizing it with an early deadline.

We’re excited to share the newest YC Top Companies list. We put this list together to help potential employees, partners, and late stage investors get to know a wider set of YC companies. If you’re looking for a job at one of our top companies, you can hit the Jobs button to be taken to their careers page.

Welcome W21 Visiting Group Partner s
Every batch, we invite founders and executives to advise YC companies as Visiting Group Partners. These advisors bring valuable insights and recent operational experience to YC early stage companies. Throughout the batch, they take on a subset of YC Group Partner responsibilities, including application reading, interviews, group office hours, individual office hours, demo day prep, and more.

2020 — Year in Review
In early 2020 the entire world underwent a transformation. The planet was consumed by a pandemic that altered life as we knew it. Most of our normal routines changed immediately. At YC, like most businesses, we closed our offices. We were forced to rethink the end of our Winter 2020 batch and transformed its demo day to an online-only event.
