Poem-a-Day - Reader—we are journeying, together

Dear Reader,

As the 25th anniversary of National Poetry Month comes to a close, we’re looking ahead. Over the next several months, we’ll be sharing hundreds of new works in Poem-a-Day by today’s poets and those who’ve helped define our poetic traditions.

We hope you’ll find in Poem-a-Day the opportunity to read and reflect at, what one reader recently described as, the “slow contented pace of journeying.”

Please take a moment now to help make Poem-a-Day—this one-of-a-kind and reader-supported series—possible, by making a special gift. As a charitable organization, our work relies on support from poetry champions like you.

Your contributions help us pay the poets and guest editors who are at the heart of Poem-a-Day, and archive the poems on Poets.org where readers can access them for free.

Join us on this reading  journey as we move, with courage, into a new day.

With heartfelt thanks,
Jennifer Benka
Executive Director
P.S. Don’t miss this final chance to claim one of our commemorative totes or bookmarks, in honor of the 25th anniversary of National Poetry Month.
