in our community garden
Spotted in our community garden this week is an incredible international gender and disability research project on COVID19 responses led in collaboration with our Bloom friend over in Spain: Alana Carvalho! She's a legal advisor specialized in disability, gender and International Law - currently working as a UN Advocacy Advisor at Women Enabled International.
More than 300 people with disabilities shared their experiences during the pandemic for the research project and with the data collected, Alana and her team produced five resources to seek a new standard for future crisis preparation that ensures human rights and inclusion at the intersection of gender and disability.
Felicidades Alana!! 🌻
Special thanks to everyone who contributed this week ☀️
