Improve Speed by Removing "Speed" Plugins?

So, several months ago, Ezoic reached out to me and asked if I wanted to be part of the Ezoic Leap beta.

I was like, “what in the world is that?”

It’s a new product from Ezoic that is supposed to help with site speed, but more specifically, it is designed to improve Google Core Web Vital scores.

I have been using Leap on my niche site Own The Yard for the last few months and have just published a review on it here.

I have discovered that there are actually some great side benefits to Ezoic Leap besides site speed and improved Core Web Vitals.

Leap is free for those who are with Ezoic, and it can take the place of many of the expensive plugins that we’re all using.

If you have Leap installed, you no longer need caching plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Super Cache, you don’t need image optimization plugins like Imagify or ShortPixel, and it also takes the place of CDNs as well.

Potential savings there.

But the most important question: does it actually help with Core Web Vitals? And is it possible to get a perfect score with it?

One of the primary selling points of the tool is that it allows you to start displaying server-side ads.

I explain more about what this means technically in the post, but to summarize, it means that those with ad blockers will still see ads and you’ll still get earnings from those visitors.

See the screenshots from the Own The Yard reports, read how I found implementing the changes, and whether or not the perfect score is possible in my Ezoic Leap Review here.

Exciting New Listings On Motion Invest

We’ve just listed 3 brand new sites on Motion Invest, and have 21 others for sale for between $1000 and $55,000.

You can see the strong Ahrefs metrics for one of the new sites in the instrument niche.

A little bit more about this niche site:

  • It made an average of $725 over the past
  • Has 143 articles posted
  • Is serving ads with Mediavine
  • Built on a new domain
  • DA18 or DR13
  • Listed as a Dutch Auction

The price on the site is lowered by $435 every 2 days until it is sold or it reaches its reserve.

There are a lot of opportunities with this site as it’s performing well without any real link building being done. It has a few strong relevant links from other music and instrument sites, but otherwise, it’s wide open for someone to come in and start working on that sort of thing.

Find out the listing price and domain name of this site and the other 23 here on Motion Invest.
