We all know that Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp went offline for many hours on Monday – but what actually happened?

Apparently, 'networking issues' took the sites down. 

This also caused the Facebook stock to fall, Twitter to take over, and Telegram to add 70M users in one single day. 😱 A lot happened in 24 hours.

And how did the internet react? It seems that they had a mainly natural reaction, but still with a good sense of humor.
