Double the Sales with Seasonal Products [Top Terms]

Amazon Top 10 Movers

Hey Reader,

It’s that time of the week, so welcome to our Top 10 Amazon Keywords newsletter! While you’re gulping down another cup of coffee, let today’s email be the perfect companion. In today’s newsletter, we’re bringing you the top 10 keywords of Amazon from October 3rd to 16th. So take that delicious first sip and let’s see together what terms are shaking the market!

Yay to Selling Seasonal Products on Amazon

The time has come for us to accept that the warm summer is over, and the cold blistering winter will be coming over in the next few months. Amazon sellers aren’t complaining though, as this is a great opportunity to double their sales with seasonal products

Third-party sellers have already launched their latest clothing products that’ll definitely be appropriate this fall and winter of 2021. I guess you can say that many third-party sellers have been thinking fashion-forward.

Two of the hottest (or coldest?) keywords this week are “chamarras para mujer para el frio” (“jackets for women for the cold” in Spanish) and “womens turtleneck sweater”. The sales for these products have increased to a whopping 561 units per day for the former and 858 units per day for the latter in the past two weeks.

Free Returns of Fashion Items for Seller-Fulfilled Orders

Starting October 26, 2021, Amazon will feature free returns on all seller-fulfilled Fashion items offered on the platform.

What does this mean? If you’re an FBM or SFP seller, you won’t be able to deduct the return shipping fee for Fashion items listed in the United States. Learn more about this new policy in our article, Amazon Requires Free Returns for Seller-Fulfilled Fashion Items.

The Keyword Under the Microscope

As stated earlier, the wintry weather brings with it all manner of seasonal products. Taking our #8 spot in today’s top movers is “windshield cover for ice and snow”. While this product is primarily used to protect against frost and ice in the winter, they're beneficial year-round to protect against sun damage, leaves or tiny white bombs from our winged friends.

We’ve seen this product go from 54 units per day to a whopping 436 units per day in the last few days.

Repricing Your Amazon Products

Why do Amazon sellers need to reprice their products this season? It’s no doubt that reducing and increasing prices on a regular basis can benefit your Amazon business in a lot of ways, but are you doing it right? Learn more about it in our 2021 Guide to Repricing Your Products on Amazon.

Happy selling,
Helena
