Having trouble getting stubborn stains out of the bottom of your thermos? Drop a denture tablet or two in there with warm water. Leave the lid off (to avoid pressure buildup) and let it soak for a few hours.

Happy Friday! It’s the best day of the week, as far as I’m concerned. It’s the only day with that Christmas Eve energy, full of the potential energy of the weekend and as-of-yet-realized plans.

On this day in 1947, A Street Car Named Desire debuted on Broadway, Marlon Brando starred in the play and went on to star in the 1951 film adaptation too. His portrayal of Stanley Kowalski not only got him an Academy Award nomination but was hugely influential on acting methodology as a whole.
