A sneak peak into what my investors know

What a year.

2021 flew by before I could blink.

I’ve gotten countless messages about Nira with people asking to know what we’ve been up to.

At Nira, we’ve been building a cybersecurity business focused on answering a simple question: Who has access to your company information?

I’m going to pull back the curtain today and share some details that only our team and investors typically get.

We started 2021 with 14 full-time team members, and ended the year at 26. Our team is distributed across the world and we have been 100% remote since day one.

After pivoting and rebranding to Nira in June, we hit product/market fit really quickly. The first time we debuted our interface in public, the feedback from our target customers was phenomenally positive. Watch us on SOLVETank to get a feel for what true B2B product/market fit feels like from the customer’s perspective.

Today, 75%+ of the people that see a demo of our product move forward to next steps.

One of our main goals for 2021 was to become enterprise ready. We accomplished this by building new features and doubling down on security by getting our SOC 2 Type 2 a second year in a row plus starting our ISO 27001. We also addressed the one major objection we used to hear by explaining the difference between us and Google Workspace’s admin features.

We were able to work with hyper growth companies as design partners. Marie and I dug deep into their most painful problems and how they are trying to solve those problems today. This led to creating a killer roadmap that will keep us busy for years to come. Including integrations with other popular cloud applications that organizations use at work.

This type of rigor is what I live for because it is how you ensure that a SaaS business grows as fast as possible. And the proof is in the pudding.

Big changes are coming in 2022 for how I communicate with you about Nira.

It’ll start with something new that I will share here first in the coming weeks.

Hiten =)
