One of the above Niche Sites is in the dog niche and is making just over $6,000 a month. The bulk of the revenue is coming from Mediavine.

Someone "Stole" My Instagram Account

Here's a random but true story for your Friday.

Niche Pursuits was created over a decade ago, but I never registered an Instagram account for the business.

I just never got around to it...until last week.

At least, I went to register "nichepursuits" as the Instagram handle...but it turns out someone already registered it!

I thought, "Was it me, and I just forgot?" (A totally plausible scenario).

I did the ol' "forget password", and it showed something like "email sent to cb******@gmail.com". Whatever the email was, it was NOT my email address!!

Unfortunately, it looks like someone snagged my "nichepursuits" handle years ago, posted a couple things to make it look like NichePursuits.com, and then abandoned it.

I tried sending private messages to no avail.

A short story that I've now made long...the bottom line is that I have now registered Niche.Pursuits (the dot is officially me!) on Instagram.
