This week’s money mood: Celebrating the E in ESG 🌎

As you probably know, we’re big fans of aligning our money with our values here at Ellevest. Re: sustainability and Earth Day (tomorrow!), that can mean taking a closer look at our purchasing and consumption habits. But it can also mean reevaluating where we bank and how our money is invested.

One way to align your investments with your values, especially if one of those values is climate activism (and / or gender equality!), is by investing with an ESG lens. That stands for three things: environmental (how a company treats the planet), social (how it treats people) and governance (how it runs itself).
