Brainfood Jobs: We are holding at 8 jobs, mainly from from repeat posters who have evergreen recruiter needs - Join Talent, KANDIDATE - both RPO’s and Horton International, a global recruitment agency, though Wheely and Distillery are hanging in there too. Where have all the in-house recruiter vacancies gone? Companies are still hiring, but not hiring recruiters. Sign up here if you’re on the market or think you might be, or post here, if you are indeed hiring for recruiters
To be on theme, we’re looking at the challenges for EB / TA professionals when your business is making lay offs. How do you handle this, what is the expected communication, what is the role of TA? Additionally, what happens if you are making redundancies in one area but still growing in others? All this and more with an expert panel of EB / TA professionals who have gone through this mill. We’re on day after Recfest, Friday 8th July, 2pm - register here

So this week coming up, is all about one thing - RecFest!
When Jamie first pitched me on the idea of a ‘festival with recruiters’ I couldn’t imagine anything less appealing 🤣. But I showed up anyway and was so glad that I did - it is the best event in recruiting today and if you are one of the 4000 or so people who will be attending, I look forward to seeing you there. There is a waitlist so last minute tickets might still be available, so sign up to here and you might get lucky.
It’s great use of Knebworth Park and - as I hope we know, we need to always make better use of our land that we have. Check out how we are currently doing it, with this real time app of global land use.
So DM me on twitter or Instagram or TikTok if you have any more cool internet to check out.
Have a great week everybody.
