Brainfood Jobs: More enquiries for the ‘100 Tigers’ Luna New Year unlimited job postings offer - which I might be re-open as we get going again after the summer break. Economy is uneven folks - lots of VC back tech being defensive, lots of everyone else still hiring like crazy. 18 Live recruiter jobs here, if you’re hiring, post here
Founders Focus - Ep32 - Up close & personal with Mehul Bhatt, CEO of FloCareer - we are back with another episode of FF! One of my favourite things to do is to interview the founders of recruitment technology businesses who are changing the way in which we work today. What leadership and entrepreneurship lessons can we learn? Mehul has an amazing story - register here to here it.
Brainfood Live, Ep166: Sourcing On Reddit - we have ran this show before but we are way past time for an update, as Reddit continues to be one the most widely used websites on the planet with hundreds of millions of user profiles, which the recruitment community in general has little idea on how to hire. We’re going to be speaking with expert recruiters who’ve made their names on knowing Reddit, so if you want to upgrade your know-how on sourcing from this site, this is your chance (hint: must attend for any tech recruiter) - register here
Special thanks this week to: Neil Carberry, Eugène van den Hemel, Sally Tattersfield, Colin Donnery, Vanessa Raath, Jo Weech, Mary Grace Hennessy, Bas van de Haterd, Aaltje Vincent, Kevin Wheeler, Charu Malhotra, Andy Davis, Joey NK Koksal, Sean Wilkes, Matthias Schmeißer, Neilesh Sood, Jason Grieg, Susan Jett and Andreea Lungulescu for supporting all things brainfood last week - your public shout outs are noted and appreciated!
Now check out your scores on the Brainfood Hall of Fame😉
Can you help? Simply share this link recruitingbrainfood.com on a LinkedIn status update and recommend it to your network - it’s the best way to keep the growing the brainfood community.
Cheers!
Hung

So I’m really enjoying this ‘empty’ (ish) time in the year; basically not going anywhere until September, got no in person commitments all August, just plenty of time to figure out some new things to bring to the community later this year and for early next. Couple of cool ideas already brewing folks, so watch this space 😉.
I’ve also had more time getting into new stuff are the sort of deep dives you avoid when your are super maxed out. Take for example, this incredible website which combines history + cartography. It’s beautiful, educational and - I think - valuable.
DM me on twitter or Instagram or TikTok if you have more interesting internet for me to check out
Have a great week everybody.
