Big List of Recruiting & HR Events to attend in 2022-23 - is back! I stopped maintaining the Big List in 2019 as pandemic took in-person events entirely off the table, but in-person events are definitely back, and so therefore is this list. Update, bookmark, and share it - if you see any events that are missing, or you running one yourself, add it to the bottom of the sheet. It’s the one place where I hope we can all have one view as what is going on in industry - let’s go!
Brainfood Jobs: Featured Jobs stay on for 30 days folks, compared to the 10 on Standard tier. That means 4 x amped via this newsletter and This Week, In Recruiting tomorrow. Looking for work as a recruiter - subscribe to the board here. Posting new recruiter jobs - do it here.
Brainfood Live, Ep169: How to Build A Recruitment Marketing Content Engine: Been aiming to do this show for a long time now, especially seeing as this newsletter has benefitted immensely from having some sort of content plan. But what can operational recruiters who are busy with jobs to fill do in terms of consistently generating content? Must attend folks - Friday 26th August, 2pm BST - register here.
Special thanks this week to: Gautam Ghosh, Eugène van den Hemel, Garry Turner, Christian Madsen, Eden Cantrelle, Kevin Green, Neil Carberry, Joey NK Koksal, Lars Schmidt, Tim Sanchez, Jean Martin Kyssama, Andrew Spence, Michael Blakley, Manjuri Sinha, Dan Doherty, Adrian McDonagh, Michael Brown and Craig Single for your public support of this newsletter - essential to keeping it free to read for everyone - thank you!
Now check out your scores on the Brainfood Hall of Fame😉
Can you help? Simply share this link newsletters.recruitingbrainfood.com on a LinkedIn status update and recommend it to your network - it’s the best way to keep the growing the brainfood community.
Cheers!
Hung

End notes
Last two weeks in London before some crazy traveling starts happening in September - and I suspect October and November. I’ve really enjoyed this mini-slowdown and its given me a chance to think about some more things to experiment with this year and next - some announcements on this soon!
In the meantime, I’ve found The Great War, an amazing youtube challenge which analyses not only the lead up but also the 1920’s aftermath of World War I. It covers non-main stage conflicts which have fallen out of public consciousness but also takes care to examine how those conflicts were reported on at that time, so a historiography as well as a history. Necessary education.
DM me on twitter or Instagram or TikTok if you got any other cool internet for me to check out.
Have a great week everybody.
Hung
