The core to marketing every online business is content. Especially if you're looking at the SEO game.

But this is still true if you're running paid ads, or email campaigns, or organic social. At the core of them all..is content.

At Nano Flips we rotate through in house writers, sometimes I write content for sites myself, and some great contractors we have worked with for years.

But it dawned on me.

Many of you out there have NO idea where to get great content. So Ive decided to put together a great list of contractors and agencies that Ive tested myself.

We will start with SEO friendly content for niche websites (the most common kind of online business we talk about here in the newsletter).

I posted on Twitter about ordering a 10k word test from a new content agency for one of my niche blogs about sports I just bought.

This Week’s Nano Flip Opportunity

I know half of you want sites under $50k, and the other half looking to deploy $50k! So for today, I want to take a look at a great site from Empire Flippers. Its in the food and beverage niche. I cant share the URL, but just go ahead and check out the listing and see the URL for yourself here.​

Not every site is a quick flip, but this could be great buy, hold and grow.

Ok so right off the bat, the things we DONT like about this site.

• Traffic is a little bit on the decline
• revenue is a little on the decline

With that said....overall its trending very much up! And its in a super evergreen niche something I love.

Overall, it has a decently strong backlink profile in Ahrefs

The site makes its money from Amazon Associates (48.69%), display advertising (48.02%), and affiliate (3.29%).

Traffic comes primarily from organic search (94.91%), direct (4.41%), and referral (0.47%). The top three countries driving traffic are the US (77.22%), Canada (5.91%), and the UK (3.94%). The top three pages make up 38.15% of total site traffic, contributing to 22.02%, 11.67%, and 4.46% of traffic respectively.

THESE ARE GOOD THINGS!

The sad part is, its probably had its revenue maximized already. But we can def increase traffic! (Which will increase revenue ha)

If I were to buy this site here is what I would do:

• Find competitors with weaker backlink profiles and lower DR than me. I would use Ahrefs to see whatever pages they were ranking for that were super low competition, and then I would make content for those keywords. Since this site has a much strong backlink profile, you would be likely to rank within a couple months for bunch of that new content if things went right.

• Figure out what keywords have high traffic and are on page 2! With a few backlinks we could bring lots of those pages to page 1 and increase traffic drastically. The amount of traffic a site gets being on page 2 for a keyword is NOTHING in comparison to what it can get when it hits page one. Guess what...I did some digging for you. There are almost 400 keywords that are in this situation for this website.

• I would reach out directly to brands in this niche and ask them if they wanted to do a site wide takeover of sponsporship of the newsletter and banners on the site, as well as do a guest post on the site. A nice little ad package that would be hard to turn down.

• Of course, test moving ads around, and make sure to grow the email list!

The site is for sale for $99,793 which is 46x its average monthly profit of $2,169.00.

Honestly I think its a little over valued, BUT if you love this niche its better to get a great site you love, than to lose one thats a perfect fit.

I would try and negotiate down a little bit. Maybe to $95k flat or so.

Either way, in a stock market thats continuously going down, this site could be great hedge for your portfolio and would return over 25% cash on cash each year BEFORE YOU MADE A SINGLE IMPROVEMENT TO IT!

Not every site purchase is a flip. There is so much opportunity for buying a fantastic online business that can grow and is in a niche you love.

As always...do your own due diligence, the above is based off of what I see as an opportunity from the info provided in the listing and some light due diligence. It just one of many scenarios that could play out and its up to you to do your own due diligence and see if this makes sense for you!
