Silicon Valley Funding News - Week of August 22, 2022. Incredible Health Raised $80M Series B

I am back in San Francisco!  Really enjoyed my visit to Singapore and Korea.  And I loved learning different perspectives in terms of venture investing and company building!

• 💰 Adam Neumann may be the best fundraiser of all time - Marc Andreessen's vote of confidence on Neumann's new company Flow has Benchmark and many other investors raising their eyebrows. The $350M investment represents the biggest single check a16z has written for a company’s funding round!
• 📜 How the Digital Commodities Consumer Protection Act of 2022 would broaden the CFTC’s authority to regulate cryptocurrencies and other digital assets.  Great recap.   
• 🇨🇳 Why are Chinese VCs drifting away from their U.S. peers? Great overview on China's investment landscape and comparison between the US and China. The two countries have very different economic and political structures which drive their venture investments focus.  The Chinese government is definitely the main driver for Chinese venture capital investment strategies.
