Having A Good Website Matters! | Marketing Junto

Midjourney AI generated cartoon of a web designer screaming at her computer. AI really can't do hands. 🤣

My Take

I’m sick of these “high-powered” professionals having crappy, poorly designed, and unprofessionally looking websites.

Good web design matters. I see so many professionals half-ass attempt at their sites because they think social media is the place to put the most important content. If anything they should be putting their best content on their site and sharing it on social media with a link, not in its entirety.

Having a well designed site should not be underestimated. It will help you build trust with users and create the most positive user experience possible. People might find you on social media, but they WILL check out your site and see if you’re worth working with.

The design of your site should be tailored for the audience of your product or service. Your color scheme, font choice, and layout should be visually appealing and easy to use. Having a search function and navigation tools can make it easier for users to find the information they need quickly. Additionally, having a website that is mobile friendly is extremely important.

More people use their mobile devices than their computers to surf. With this in mind, your site needs to be user friendly on not just computers, but tablets and phones.

Responsive design is especially important for optimizing user experience on the different devices

In addition to the look and feel of your site, optimizing website content is very important. Content that is relevant, original, and useful to the user be a priority.

Having a good web design is also going to be beneficial to your SEO efforts. Search engines are looking for rich content, an optimized website structure, and user experience when they rank sites. So using internal linking and external linking can be extremely effective to drive traffic to other pages on your site.

Overall, having a good website is essential in today’s digital age. It should be seen as an investment, and not be taken lightly. Having a great website will help you boost conversions and positively impact your revenue.

I want to hear what you think? Does a good quality site matter? Or am I full of it? Hit reply and let me know.
