I, for one, don’t believe in creative blocks. There is only one reason why you’d feel stuck or out of ideas when you try to create: burnout.

If you lack motivation and drive, it’s time to reset your creativity — to turn yourself toward a new direction and rewire your synapses. You can do this by trying something new. This doesn't mean quitting. You’re not giving up. It means changing your routine to break free from burnout.

Can't write an essay today? Try writing a poem. Can’t paint today? Try oil pastel. Just as there are many ways to exercise, there are many modes of self-expression. If you feel stuck moving in one direction, make a pivot. Get out of the rut.

Make a bold change — you’ll be better for it.
