Wolf Craft - 9 Tips to Supercharge Your PR Plan

A lot of new emails here! Hello and welcome to all our new subscribers.

For y'all that have been with us for a while, you may have noticed our newsletter took a pause. But we're back! While on pause we made some big changes, like the format of this newsletter (you may have noticed) and a totally redesigned website! We've got new brand colors and our first ever founder photos!

We're looking forward to being back in your inbox a couple of times a month with PR strategies and tips to help you build your business.

Our newsletter has always been about helping you learn the craft of PR, so we decided to officially name it just that. We've done a bit of a redesign, and you may see more design changes in the future. Like all small businesses, ours is a work in progress.

We're always tweaking what we do and improving how we tell the story of our business. We hope you check out our website updates and let us know what you think! Our goal was to make it easier to find the service that's right for you, so you can do your own PR and grow your business.

Check out a mini preview below and the full redesign here.
Cheers,
Nora & Kirsten

psst- in our long tradition of sharing tools we find useful, we made this screen recording in the very cool extension Capture Chrome. We think its a game changer for creating gifs easily.

PR Pro Tip

Don't be afraid to follow up!

Sent a pitch...and crickets? Nervous that if you follow up it will come off as annoying? Don’t worry, following up is a big part of the pitching process.

At our sister firm Wolf PR, we get a huge portion of responses after follow-up emails. Editors receive tons of emails each day, so things do slip through the cracks. Be friendly and courteous, short and sweet.

Wait a few days between emails and never follow up more than twice. In your final email, use a phrase like “one last time” to let the editor know you respect their time.

PR Wins

One of the most rewarding things about running Wolf Craft is working one-on-one with creative business owners to help them hone their storytelling strategy and do their own PR outreach.

While at ICFF/Wanted in NYC this week, I (Nora) stopped by the booths of a few former 1-1 clients. It was incredible to see their great work and how far they have come.

And I was thrilled when one said- "doing calls with you was one of the best and most transformative things I have done for my business."
I may be opening some new spots soon, so if you're interested in doing 1-1s with me, drop me a line at hello@wolf-craft.com.

How to work with us

If you want to get great at telling your story, for more press and more clients, we can help!

When you need a constructive second set of eyes to look at what you're doing and tell you exactly what to fix, update, and where you would best benefit from investing time or money.

We're so happy to say our clients LOVE this service. One even said it was the best money she's ever spent on her biz.
For when you have an upcoming launch, new project, or are ready to start pitching your work to editors.

Our lists are custom-built specifically for your biz. They include editor contact info, pitch notes, article examples, personalized pitch templates, AND 1-1 calls with Nora to walk you through it all.
How to Pitch for Holiday Gift Guides
When you want step-by-step instructions (with videos, email scripts, a pitching calendar, and more) to pitch your products to gift guides with confidence.

PLUS you’ll learn how to pitch smaller holidays throughout the year.
Photography for Media Outreach Guides
For product-based businesses and interior designers who want to make sure they have the *right* images to secure press features.

Psst- most businesses think they have the right images to get press. BUT most don’t. That’s just the truth, and it’s why we created these guides.
Thanks for giving our (newly designed) newsletter a bit of time in your inbox!
