Like many of us, the founder we’re featuring today pivoted into starting a new business in part because she had to.

She lost her school research job, so she needed a new source of income. Following a passion, she found freelance work for a baby formula company.

Then her freelance contract ended, so she began creating formula-related posts on Instagram.

She realized she could monetize that content, and went all in on that business, calling it The Formula Mom.

Eventually she hit a critical decision point…

Should she continue to grow the business and her team, operating as a CEO? Or was there a way to focus more on her passion of educating parents about formula?

She chose her passion, pitched her ideal buyer, and negotiated an acquihire by Bobbie Baby Inc. She’s now their education lead.
