Instead of seeing your purpose as a destination, and seeing your career or life as trying to find the “right” path, instead view yourself is a formidable, adaptable, excellent human being who can roll with the punches flex into whatever opportunity that comes their way.

This logic is much easier to grok for me. Instead of thinking I have to find some theoretical right answer, I can just focus on making myself amazing & great things will start happening to me. Crucially, I don’t have to predict those great things.
