I just finished a weekend of skiing with friends in Utah, skiing in Deer Valley, and it has been absolutely stunning. In fact, as I write this, I am feet up on a couch looking over park city in front of a fireplace.

Just was having a nice moment of gratitude as I remember none of this would be possible without the magic of internet based businesses.

Anyway...

I don't want to be the one here reminding you of how much inflation "ate our lunch" recently, but I came across this graphic:

Living in this economy without getting a raise has probably become tougher.

Go ahead, look at it more closely. The only things that seem to cost less are TV's and cellphone service...School, childcare, food, housing...all through the roof.

There is only one way you can have beat this...thats to either get massive raises at work, or to have your own business that made more money.

I think we all know we are big believers in AT LEAST having a small side business that allows you to control your own time and money, it's the only way to win.

So...lets take a look at some you can buy below.

Love an ecom brand thats making money from drop shipping with their traffic coming from organic search. It means there are some amazing obvious opportunities for growth, all while having a super solid foundation to start with.

Key Highlights

• Currently at $3k or so monthly profit coming off the holidays, with a trailing 12 month profit of $18k
• Organic search is 2/3 of its traffic
• Can build out organic social content strategy for it
• Major opportunity for conversion rate optimization
• Margins may be able to be increased, by carrying inventory instead \
• Paid social could be great opportunity for someone who is a media buyer by trade

Ok it's rare to find something like this to be honest. Ecom brands for sale often are just running on paid ads and only as good as their last campaign.

So you know what they sell...here is an example.

First thing is first, I would start looking at 3 things to grow this business.

1. Can we negotiate better margins with a different supplier, or carry inventory ourselves and ship and increase margins. First thing I would do is get a quote from the current supplier doing drop shipping and just ASK them if they can come down in price. Then I would take that price and shop it around other suppliers from Alibaba and DHGate. 2. Plan an organic social strategy: The move here would be to aggregate videos of people teaching how to draw...there are tons of them. Of course - GIVE CREDIT TO CREATORS. Add the link to your products in your bio, build a tiktok shop, and your off the races!
3. Paid Media ad campaigns: Without even having to run lots of cold campaigns you could just set up retargeting on meta, and google shopping. Should be an easy win for growth.

Candidly, I dont see this growing into a $100M brand.

But low 7 figures seems reasonable eventually.

I would continue by cross selling drawing supplies as well, you could even partner with creators and try and selling online programs on drawing more.

There is a ton of opportunity.

Obviously would keep pushing on the organic SEO lever that is doing so well for the site already.

Ahrefs shows a TON of opportunity.

$10k a month in profit would make $300K business, and Im positive there is enough space in this niche to make it more like $100k a month
