The Opportunity of Internet Businesses - We are still early

All the emails I’ve sent recently have been very structured and really just looked at internet businesses for sale and how to improve them and run them.

But belief and mindset is just as important as the tools we have.

So I wanted to rant for a second about how anything is possible.

I genuinely do believe that Internet businesses are an opportunity for anyone in this world who wants to take advantage of them.

Anyone with internet access can own one. It’s truly an opportunity that never existed before. Entrepreneurship was guarded throughout all of capitalism until the rise of the Internet - and we’re still incredibly early on.

You once needed to physically be in one location, and to risk everything to build or buy a business. This is simply no longer true.

The Mindset of Possibility

I know it's cheesy y'all....but I want to take a moment and talk about how really anything is possible - that we are really the only ones stopping ourselves from moving forward.

If you can make $1 online (and I promise you every single one of you can), you can make a million dollars online.

I realized recently that I hang on in the corner of the internet where people talk about $100k months, $200k months, or even million-dollar months.

This is a bubble. Not because it’s not possible, but it’s a bubble because people don’t see how it’s possible.

For context, I got kicked out of school so much that I went to 5 highschools...and I dropped out of college. With 8 credits left to this day.

Im not special, all of you can do the same.

A Grounding Interaction

Recently, while buying some groceries after a long week, I had an interaction with the gentleman bagging for me:

• A kind, nice guy in his early 20s
• He asked me what I would be doing on Saturday night
• I said, “It’s been a long week, my man. I’m probably just gonna go play some PS5 and cook and relax.”
• He said, “So sick. I’ve been saving up for a PS5.”

It was a reminder that I live in this bubble and that I should have gratitude for the amazing life that internet businesses have granted me - where the concept of saving up for a PS5 seems crazy.

The Key: Gratitude and Risk

If youre still in the camp of thinking $10k, $100k, or even $1M months from your laptop are impossible. This is for you.

Recognize that many many things are possible - that anything is possible actually. People much dumber than me, make much much more than I do.

I am still my own worst enemy and still work on my mindset every day. It's a never-ending process.

So I want to take this moment to recognize it’s important to have obscene gratitude for what we all already have.

Clearly, things could be worse, no matter what. In my experience... gratitude seems to be one of the keys to happiness.

Anything is possible. Be grateful for what you already have. But there is always more you can get. Balancing these 2 beliefs is key.

Whether you own a blog doing $100 a month, a software business doing a million a month, or you’re sending rockets into space like Elon.

We’re here on this planet one time and one time and one time only from my perspective at least.

So while you’re here, take advantage of that.

Take the risk, take the swing.

The only way to escape mediocrity is to take a risk. And if that’s not for you, that’s okay.

But if you want more, if you don’t want to just be saving up for a PS5, then you have to take swings. I promise you anything within the laws of physics is possible for all of you.
