His A/B test:

#1. Control.
#2. Add discount.
#3. Change value proposition.


Variation #2 showed 13% uplift in sales.
Variation #3 showed 43% uplift in sales.

But then he calculated how these variations convert at the bottom line (Revenue – VAT – Returns – Cost of Goods):
#2. -12.9%
#3. +22%

Takeaway:
Sales is not the end point worth measuring, the bottom line is ;).
