Andrew Hutchinson predicts that the success of TikTok and the growing influence of AI will alter the type of content that gains more visibility on social media.

Generating engagement used to be the most effective method for content to go viral. His prediction is that moving forward, social media will favor posts or videos that entertain users and prolong their time spent on the platform.

Instagram has been experimenting with longer Reels. But it seems these trials have not been going well.

In a recent event with creators in New York, Adam Mosseri, the Head of Instagram, said that Reels longer than 90 seconds can "HURT distribution."

YouTube has introduced a simplified way for promoting your videos.

You can access this new setup option in your YouTube Studio, eliminating the need to navigate through the advanced ad setup process via Google Ads.
