The longer I run my companies

The more I realize how much of a DICTATOR I have to be

Before you think I’m some corrupt tyrant with a stick up his ass, let me explain to you something about being a dictator:

Understand that you MUST be a dictator when it comes to any facet of your life.

You’re not going to see success if you’re only exhibiting “half” power over yourself or the situation.

You need to absolutely rule yourself, your life, and your business with an iron fist.

And you need to be a DICTATOR in order to DICTATE what actually is going to happen in the future.

No conqueror in history ever let anyone but themselves have the final say.

They wear the crown for a reason – and for that same reason their vision is much bigger than everyone else’s.

When Alexander conquered the Mediterranean and Egypt, his army was happy and wanted to ease off the gas.

What they didn’t know was that Alexander had his sights on catching way bigger fish.

And so he told them the job wasn’t finished and they went all into Persia –

An event that later cemented Alexander's name in history and graced him with the tile of the greatest conqueror to ever exist.

In business it’s the same way. Your employees aren’t gonna see the bigger picture.

You have to dictate it into existence for them.

The way I run my businesses is ruthless - I have a solid vision

My goal as the founder is to make sure that the 20 people on my team are moving us forward toward the visions each hour

Because each single hour of work with 20 team members is really 20 hours of work

That’s what a team does for you, it’s time leverage. What would take myself 2-3 days to do, my team of 20 will move it forward in 60 minutes

I’m realizing more and more what my role really is. It’s to gather a superstar team, show them my vision, introduce the problems them, and get them to solve it

This is where I have to be a dictator

I am the one approving their solutions, I’m the one with the final say.

Now why am I doing this?

As a founder at the early stages, I understand more about my businesses as a whole than my team currently does - the reason for this is that my vision isn’t even close to being a reality yet.

My lesson for you today - It’s okay to be dictatorial at the early stages. Show your team the problems, get them to solve them, and make sure every single goal your team has will lead you closer to your vision
