#1 - Make your subscribe landing page like a product offer

Take a look at this email capture landing page 👇️ 

It feels like a product pre-launch landing page. And that’s because it is!

The creator is trying to validate his idea before charging for it. He created this subscribe page with time-sensitive offers and clear benefits of joining the list NOW.

This got me thinking…can the same be applied to a regular newsletter landing page?

Absolutely yes. Here’s how👇️

#2 - The format that’s KILLING it on LinkedIn right now

You know something is up when you are a thief like me and start seeing the same content format more than usual.

It happened with carousels on LinkedIn last year. It’s starting to happen again with videos on X earlier this year and with infographics on LinkedIn NOW.

How does that look exactly?

I’m paying close attention to some of the people doing this type of content and they are growing A LOT. For example, Miro Bada (pic on the left, above) has grown over 25k followers in the last 3 months)

Personally, I don’t think most people are reading these.

It’s the type of content that you bookmark to read later, and precisely, that’s what’s making it so popular.

Bookmarks are a really good sign for the algorithm. They mean people find that content interesting enough to save it, which boosts it even more.

So should you make them?

Up to you. If your goal is to grow on LinkedIn and you have the design chops (a Canva template will do, honestly), I would go for it, as long as you can make it valuable.

#3 - Own an emoji 🕵️

It’s hard to stand out on social media these days.

That’s why people change their profile picture background for a bright color (guilty) or try to link emojis to their content.

People might not recognize your name immediately, but they can remember the “orange guy with a detective thingy.”

And that’s what this tactic is all about → owning an emoji

It's not that you can really own it, but you can link emojis to your personal brand by constant repetition.

A great example is Katelyn Bourgoin (who also brands herself with a bright yellow background).

That’s why, besides having the 🧠 emoji on her name, she also includes the emoji on some of her posts:

Slowly, this starts to build a presence in her audience’s head that the 🧠 emoji belongs to her.

This works because Katelyn uses it with a clear purpose, not just because.

She talks about Customer behavior and psychology, so using the 🧠 emoji makes a ton of sense for her and her brand.

If you want to own an emoji, make sure it makes sense in the bigger context of your brand.

A is guilty.

Let’s say B was telling the truth, that C did it. But then A must be lying, which would mean A did it. This is a contradiction, so B must be lying.

If B is lying, then C’s statement is true. Therefore C is telling the truth and the other two are lying, which means A is guilty.
