Resending: The dark side of making millions (It’s going to happen to you too)

Last night was tough

I felt like ripping all my hair out

It seems like nothing is working

I was so close to hitting the next revenue goal and then I came crashing down

You know exactly what I'm talking about

Feeling like NOTHING is working

As if there is no light at the end of the tunnel

No one shows you this side,

No one tells you about the dark side of making millions

They'll show you the supercars & yachts

But what they won't show you is the difficult day

Here's what you HAVE TO DO when times are tough:

I have a very simple system I follow when I’m going through a low period in my business

And it’s all about switching my lens

No I’m not talking about glasses

I mean the mental lens I have as I look at the reality around me

Stick with me, this is going to get confusing before it gets simple

See in life we can wear

• A logical lens
• An emotional lens
• A spiritual lens

If you only keep one lens on, you can never really grow as a human

And more importantly, you can never make the RIGHT decisions

Think about it - if you’re overly logical, you become pessimistic

If you’re overly emotional, you become unreliable

If you’re overly spiritual, you lack action

Your goal is to be able to swap to specific lenses whenever one is taking over too much

So let's get back to the main topic

A DIFFICULT MOMENT IN BUSINESS.

When things are tough but you can't seem to fucking crack the code

You operate with a logical lens, strategy after strategy is failing

Then your emotional lens starts squeezing in. Self-doubt creeps up, anger comes into the picture, and now you’re doubting yourself

Because of a few L’s, you start spiraling down into a negative loop

And boom, now you can’t make any more wise decisions

You cannot move toward your vision

So to solve this problem

We have to be conscious about the lens we are wearing during tough moments and when those emotions take over

We accept they’re there, we accept the reality of the current situation, then swap back to a spiritual lens

And accept that this all is happening for a reason to STRENGTHEN Me

Then simply get back to work
