What’s not measured is not improved

That’s the team of today’s email

The problem with most entrepreneurs is they “wing it”

They rely on “gut feelings”

And think that’s all they need to scale

Ya that might be enough to get you to 50-100k a month

But if you really want to scale

And I’m talking about constantly hitting better months every month

Then you need an approach that allows them to systematically improve their main numbers

These are your KPIs (your key performance indicators)

The metrics that people actually pay you for

So for example, at my agency, people care about:

Becoming an Authority with their online presence

The KPIs involved in making this happen are

1. Engagement rate
2. Followers added
3. Lead flow

Which is why I created this spreadsheet

It allows us to see which KPIs our team needs to be actively working on.

I’m able to track 2 main areas

1. The deliverables (number of deliverables and delays)
2. The performance of those deliverables

Every single Monday I meet with each of my teams - We look through all the KPIs together and understand what is working and what is clearly NOT working

And then we create a game plan on how we can improve it

For example:

If we begin to notice that a specific team member delaying deliverables, we figure out how to fix it

If we notice that the results are not there for a client, we figure out how to fix it

EVERYTHING IS BASED ON THE DATA. There should not be assumptions

This allows us to improve EVERY main metric every month incrementally
