My point is that every platform has their own audience and their own viral content.

If you don't know what to share on Twitter, go to TikTok or IG and check what's cool there. I bet you'll find something that you didn't see on Twitter.

By becoming a reporter on what's happening on other channels you make it easy for yourself to share cool sh*t. And usually the stuff you see is the stuff that goes viral and has a pretty big chance of going viral on a different social platform too.

YouTube has released a new report exploring viewer behavior and engagement: “Why We Watch 2.0”

It explores what keeps viewers engaged and returning to specific channels. One interesting takeaway is the importance of creating a sense of community:

“Across all platforms, more than half of viewers agree that their content selections collectively create a sense of belonging, while a majority of younger viewers say that watching content on platforms like YouTube and Twitch makes them feel seen and understood. Surprisingly, the platform least likely to make people feel this way was broadcast media.”

CreatorIQ has published a new report on creator marketing trends.

Key findings include a rise in creator marketing investment. 74% of organizations are increasing their spend this year after a dip in investment last year, likely due to the rise of AI and reduced reliance on human creators.

Instagram is testing a new WhatsApp sticker for Stories, to help brands drive DM connections through the messaging app.

Instagram expert Martijn Cales shared an example of how this sticker will enable businesses with a connected WhatsApp Business number to prompt DM conversations directly from Instagram.
