Each year, there are hundreds of thousands of new competition on Amazon. Competition that might be manufacturers in China themselves that drive prices down, and subsequently erodes profit margins of every seller. 

But how well does Etsy perform? Are customizable, handmade products the new way to beat the competition?

We spoke to Tanya Huang to find out whether selling on Etsy is worth it, whether customized products are the magic bullet and what customers are like on Etsy.
