[SaaS Club] Turning around a struggling SaaS

Hey, this is Omer...

Here's the latest SaaS Club update...

🎧 Podcast
We just published the latest episode of The SaaS Podcast:

Flow - How to Turnaround a Struggling SaaS Company
In this episode, I talk to Daniel Scrivner, the CEO of Flow.

When he joined, the company was about 10 years old and in trouble. It was losing customers and revenue at a worrying rate.

The company had been spending around $100,000 a month on paid ads to acquire customers. But revenue was still declining 5% month over month.

When Daniel joined, continuing to spend any money on acquisition wasn't an option. So he had to figure out how to lead a turnaround –- and do it fast!

💬 Quote of the Week
This week's quote is about wisdom: 😂

“It's so simple to be wise… just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it.” - Homer Simpson

📕 Book of the Week
This weeks' recommendation is: 'Turning the Flywheel: A Monograph to Accompany Good to Great' by Jim Collins.

Here's some blurb about the book:
"The key to business success is not a single innovation or one plan. It is the act of turning the flywheel, slowly gaining momentum and eventually reaching a breakthrough. Building upon the flywheel concept introduced in his groundbreaking classic Good to Great, Jim Collins teaches readers how to create their own flywheel, how to accelerate the flywheel’s momentum, and how to stay on the flywheel in shifting markets and during times of turbulence."
