How did a new blogger reach $5000 a month in 1 year?

Do you remember where you were April 2020?

Here's a super quick recap.

Uncertainty surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic was at an all-time high. And people were spending a lot more time in their homes.

Some took this time to watch the news or Netflix.

Others took it as an opportunity to think outside the box and pursue new ways they could make money.

The latter is exactly what Charlie LaRosa did.

Like you, he had an interest in building an online business so he decided to bet on himself.

Since the pandemic started, Charlie has launched not 1 but 2 niche sites. Both while working full-time in the finance industry.

His first site provided an excellent learning experience.

In the first 9 months he had 500 articles live on the site. But growth was slow.

So he decided to start another site.

This time he wanted to avoid the mistakes he had made in his first site.

Fast forward to today and his second site is one year old with 1000 articles driving 150,000 monthly page views.

Charlie now generates mid 4-figures every month just from his ads alone.

So how did he do it and what has he learned along the way?

Well, in his Niche Pursuits podcast interview here you'll learn all about his outsourcing tips, keyword research process, and more.

Whether you're a niche site beginner or a seasoned veteran, this interview has a ton of golden nuggets you won't want to miss.

Charlie discusses a wide range of topics including:

  • The process and strategy for the second website
  • Mistakes he made with the first site.
  • How he manages to produce that much content
  • Tips for finding and hiring writers on Upwork
  • The importance of learning from your mistakes
  • His earnings from the first and second website
  • Creating a writing format for writers to follow
  • The drop in traffic from a seasonal niche
  • What motivated him to keep going
  • His Keyword research process
  • Logging articles to avoid overlapping keywords
  • His link building approach

For anyone building niche sites, this is definitely worth checking out.
