I gotta say, being your own VC is a nice luxury to have.

Model I used:

1. Built an agency ($0 costs to start).

2. Used profits to fund an e-learning biz (high margin, cash cow). Agency funded it for 9 months before achieving breakeven.

3. Used the profits of elearning to fund our SaaS business. CXL paid for MVP development + most of the first year costs. In the first 6 months of 2022 Wynter generated already more revenue than all of 2021.

From start to today 11 years. Possibly could have done it faster, but running multiple businesses is pretty hard.
