Last week, Mark Zuckerberg announced a new user experience in the mobile app. 

A new Feed tab houses a number of sub-feeds filtered by All, Favorites, Friends, Groups, and Pages. Each sub-tab surfaces posts from the people and entities you’re already connected to. You won’t see Suggested for You posts but will see ads.

You’ll still see posts from friends and family in the Home tab, but the experience is now focused on enabling discovery via recommendations tailored by machine learning.
