This Week’s Opportunities

Content Sites

One of the few good sites we see for sale this week is from Empire Flippers and can be seen here​

Lets get some of the things we don't like out of the way:

Things we don't like:

• Site is for sale at over 4x yearly profit
• Google has been having majorupdates and this year some keywords may lose traffic
• Site is already using a "premium" ad network/ad ops (Adthrive)

Ok Y'all! things we do like:

• Traffic is in un uptrend
• Niche is evergreen
• The traffic is nice and spread out among the articles.
• Already has an Email list (2700 subscribers)

A new owner could:

• Grow the email list would be a major one here! From here on out Im really looking for opportunities to build newsletters and communities from content sites
• Search for weaker competitors in Ahrefs and create content around keywords they are targeting, so that the new owner could over take them

This could be a great piece in a portfolio for someone

On to the next opportunity, this one is a SaaS for sale through Acquire.com, the listing can be here​

Platform for helping salespeople book more meetings using outreach videosB2B SaaS with $10,000 in ARR and $4,500 in TTM revenue that automates the production of personalized outreach videos to help entrepreneurs and salespeople book more meetings with their prospects thanks to video prospecting at scale. It includes a web app and a chrome extension.

Key info:

✅ $4,500 in TTM revenue

✅ $1,100 in TTM profit

✅ $1,088 in revenue last month

✅ $616 in profit last month

✅ Competitors: Pitchlane, RepliQ, Vuleads, Hify

For many this wouldn't be a fit, but for the right team/person? This could be a perfect acquisition.

There are several players these days in the sales training space. This could be a great bolt on acquisition for them. OR if you have a large sales team it would be a great tool for them to use and crush some costs in your business.

OR

OF course you could just buy it and grow it from scratch even if you didnt have an audience or team that would be users for it already.

I would say its overpriced though!

I would negotiate for about 50% of what its listed at. If you wanted to meet in the middle, it might be done by getting the seller to "seller finance" part of the purchase price, or leave them with a small equity piece to lower your out of pocket costs.

As always...do your own due diligence, the above is based off of what I see as an opportunity from the info provided in the listing and some light due diligence, not a deep dive. It just one of many scenarios that could play out and its up to you to do your own due diligence and see if this makes sense for you!
