💸 New Nano Flips....oh and some 200% SBA qualified Sites for sale..
Nano Thought Ok yall! Just going to free from some thoughts here, as thats how this newsletter started 2 years ago...we are here now with 18k of you and I couldn't be happier that this little side project became something so significant. Moving into the new year, we are going to be changing the format at bit, and going for 2 newsletters a week. 1 with Flips (interesting sites for sale) 1 with Tips (Tips on growing and running an online biz) Also...I bought the domain, OnlineAcquisitions.com - Nano Flips will stay as the name of the newsletter :) but we should have some really exciting stuff for everyone in 2024. New contributors, more deals, more advisory, the whole shebang :) OK! Now back to regular programming...even though we love ALL kinds of online businesses, I wanted to shoot this reminder about how BIG content sites can get. AND YES I think the play now is to turn small content sites into real little media businesses that DONT just rely on google search for traffic. FB Youtube Find what works and build them with your content sites, SEO IS NOT DEAD...but its not the only way to get traffic :) btw... Glenn Allsopp broke down Future, The company behind Tom's Guide, Marie Claire and Games Radar) full year 2023 revenue Total revenue for FY 2023 was £788.9M, a 4% decrease YoY 🫠 Affiliate revenue was £268.9M, a 1% decrease YoY...I told you these kinds of sites can be big haha
This Week’s Opportunities Favorite Deal this week Partially SBA Pre-Qualified: Upwork-Like Platform for Tutoring "Launched in 2017, this Upwork-like platform connects high school and college students with qualified tutors" 🎉 Here's a site for sale you might be interested in from Quiet Light, This is a VERY interesting one. I happen to know the seller personally.
The reason I find it interesting is they have no customer acquisition costs (CAC) because they have never paid for customers. The customer lifetime value (LTV) currently is $511.29 This could be a home run for someone who is great with paid traffic I would also think about how to juice more revenue out of each sign up. I would email the students debt relief affiliate offers. OR have it on the thank you page when they sign up. A quick search wills how you that debt relief affiliate programs will give you $25+ per every lead you send their way, and $500+ for if they actually use the service! Dont worry, we did the digging for you to find some, check them out here: https://highpayingaffiliateprograms.com/debt-relief-affiliate-programs/ Oh and dont forget this one is may be SBA eligible....that means this $900k biz could be purchased for $90k. $90k upfront to earn $25k a month ain't bad! If you wanted to put together a simple capital stack with an investor too, I could see someone buying this with $50k up front. Other Businesses This Week Here is a little breakdown of some of the listings we see on the marketplaces and brokers in the media space. This includes newsletters, content sites, and more. Some require a little love and TLC from the right buyer to run them, and some are just cranking away out of the box :) Newsletters The Azure Chad Pro - VERY niche newsletter that focuses on Microsoft Azure technology and information to help mainly early career individuals gain ground in cloud focused jobs. Super valuable to the right buyer. Odd Jobs Newsletter - This Newsletter explores the business models of odd jobs, odd jobs that are hiring, and even ways you can start something that’s completely out of the box. Would probably do well if buyer mailed out business opportunity affiliate offers. Content Sites Church Gists - 1-Yr Old Display Advertising Site in the Christianity and spirituality Niche - Net $1.8K/Month. Site could use a site clean up and some strong backlinks. Major opportunity with social media. Travel Blog - Established travel blog making $64K in revenue with a profit margin close to 100%. This business provides an opportunity with growth potential & passive income. As always...do your own due diligence, the above is based off of what we see as an opportunity from the info provided in the listing and some light due diligence, not a deep dive. It just one of many scenarios that could play out and its up to you to do your own due diligence and see if this makes sense for you! Every week we take a look at a video or podcast from myself or a thought leader in the space This week let's take a look at my friend Jacky's YouTube video about making 80% commissions with Amazon... What’s on the episode? He breaks down a strategy for earning up to 80% commissions on Amazon affiliate deals.
