GrowthHackingIdea - 40% improvement (activation)
MuleSoft removed the 'select a state and country’ form fields and replaced them with GeoIP data.
As a result they observed an improvement greater than 40%.
I also see websites sometimes asking for your ZIP code.
If you want to test this idea and get Country, City, Postal code + Time Zone, Latitude, Longitude, Like I do personally on GrowthHackingIdea, get it automatically through MaxMind`s GeoIP API.
They even have a free downloadable CSV databases.
