Monica Lent recently posted on Twitter, "It Finally Happened". Monica is the founder of a travel blog, Blogging for Devs, and an affiliate marketing tool.

Monica started her journey in July 2019 and has been documenting with income reports on her blog here. Two years later, in July 2021, she has announced that she has finally generated more revenue than her previous tech job.

A significant component of her growth the previous month was in her travel blog.

"My travel blog's traffic grew another 50%, and went from $4.1K revenue to $6.9K revenue in just 30 days."

Monica is transparent about how she is growing her projects. Even though her revenues made it over $10k this last month, her net profit was $5,239—still a significant number to hit, and accomplishment nonetheless.
