386% Increase In Amazon Affiliate Clicks?!

How would you like to increase the Amazon affiliate clicks on your site by 386%?

Well, I’ve just published a post written Matthew Allen of AmaLinks Pro in which he shares 7 ways to increase Amazon affiliate clicks.

Matthew has been an online entrepreneur and affiliate marketer for a long time, and focuses primarily on the Amazon Associates program.

He’s built up sites, sold sites, and created content for both small and large sites. He’s also created a WordPress plugin, AmaLinks Pro, especially for Amazon affiliates.

Because he is the co-founder and co-creator of this tool, he’s looked closely at hundreds of sites that are monetized with the Amazon affiliate program, and he’s had the chance to run a lot of split tests.

Matt’s ‘7 ways to increase Amazon affiliate link clicks’ aren’t just ideas that he thinks will work well, they’re things that he’s actually split tested and done a proper analysis of.

As he says in the article, “Don't just take my word for it - trust the science and the data!”

One of the tests they ran had amazing results:

  • 256.4% Increase in CTR to Amazon on a Site in the Home Services Niche
  • 386% Increase Amazon Affiliate: XXXXXXXX and XXXXXXX vs AmaLinks Pro
  • 263% Increase in CTR to Amazon on a Site in the Health and Fitness Niche

I can’t share with you here what the test was, and the simple change you can make to potentially see these results. BUT you can check it out in the article.

See the 7 things you can do to increase the number of clicks on your Amazon affiliate links here, and start implementing them today!

Did you know that Neil Patel sold QuickSprout.com in 2018?

Here’s the only place I could find that mentions the sale: https://www.quicksprout.com/about/

I had no idea, and maybe I’m the only one, but I had noticed over the last year or so that the strategy had completely changed for the site.

Quick Sprout used to post exclusively internet marketing articles (how to improve SEO, etc). But that changed with the acquisition.

The site went from typically publishing 10 to 15 articles a month to now a whopping 30 to 40 articles a month.

In addition, the content is MUCH broader. It now publishes content about "how to start a massage business", "best office phone systems", etc.

The new owners have broadened the content and have doubled the content production.

What have the results been like since Neil Patel sold Quick Sprout in 2018?

According to Ahrefs, the traffic has gone from 70,000 organic visitors a month to now 180,000 organic visitors a month. (The total traffic is likely MUCH higher).

In 2016, Quick Sprout was getting over 500,000 visitors a month according to the Google Analytics screenshot Neil Patel shared (see image).

So, the site appears to have grown over 2.5 times since the acquisition in 2018. So, a rough guess is that the site is getting 1.25 million visitors a month now.

So, can you acquire a site that used to be a personal blog and grow it? Can you expand the focus of the site to something broader and see big gains? Can you double the content production and still see results?

Yes.

What are your thoughts? And do you know any more details about this particular acquisition?

Let me know in this thread in the Niche Pursuits Facebook Group.

Thanks again,

Spencer
