Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?!? Well if you're like me and you're struggling for some last minute gift ideas, fear not! Album Daily doesn't just do music, as of like now, we also do product recommendations! Allow us to make a few recommendations for the music lovers in your life. Note: we're not compensated for these recommending these products, we just think they're kinda dope.

Bose Quiet Comfort 45 Headphones. 2/3 members of Album Daily have the previous version of these headphones and we absolutely love them. Excellent noise cancellation on airplanes, solid full-range sound and best of all they're super comfortable even after working in them all day. They compact nicely for travel too.
DDJ 400 Controller. Aspiring DJ on your shopping list this year? Look no further, this is the perfect gift to get them twisting knobs to try and make it seem like they're having a material impact on the sounds coming out of the speakers the board is connected to.... wink. This controller is (relatively) inexpensive, easy to use out of the box and best yet is compatible with DDJ software that can connect to streaming services like SoundCloud so that you don't have to purchase music that you want to DJ like in the days of old.
Vinyl subscription box. This "Vinyl of the Month" club is super slick and easy to use. Simply link your favorite streaming service up, pick a "vibe" every month and then they'll send you a new record to jam to every month. It's like Album Daily but in the real world instead of on the interwebs. How cool.

Not gonna lie to y'all, I almost shut the door on this album after hearing the first song… I'm glad I didn't though! We're not in the business of prescribing to our subscribers what they should and shouldn't like but we are in the business of writing album descriptions and the title track "Back in Love City" just didn't do it for me. The album picked up steam after the first one though, thankfully!

On this latest release from The Vaccines they're going for big time radio-play stadium rock. Fist pumping choruses followed by verses that mention Nirvana, teenage rebellion and breaking the rules. If you're looking for the classic rock anthem sound you found on some of The Vaccines previous works from the early 2010s, then you might be disappointed with this one BUT if you keep an open mind and appreciate the album for the pop-rock hit-pumper that it is, then you might be pleasantly surprised.
