One Person Business - One Person Business #15: MicroFounder
As you might know by now if you follow me, I’m building Substack Tools. I’ve recently launched a new functionality to search Reddit for references to a Substack publication. This is a great way to engage with your community if that’s your case. Give it a try, let me know what you think 🙂 MicroFounder, built by Rauno Metsa, is a website aggregator for solo founders to share data on their microstartups. Rauno has been developing this website for the last 3 years, and recently launched in Product Hunt - with a lot of success! He’s trying to make the site useful for people who are interested in building small internet startups to have enough money to pay their bills and have the freedom to plan their own life. So, what can you find on this platform?
And how much money is he making so far? Well, you can check it for yourself because he publishes the information publicly as well, but I’ll give you the drill-down here: she has made $3,307 in total and of this, $1,445 were made last month. Make sure to check it out, since you’ll find a lot of cool things over there, being built by other solo founders. I’ve touched before on why aggregators are an interesting space to explore, especially if you find the right nice space. But they always suffer from the same egg and chicken problem: in order to get consumers, you need producers, but producers won’t come unless there are users. Learn more about this here. Your opinion means a lot to me: Awesome | Liked | 50/50 | Meh | Terrible Let me know what you think about this post, and what you’d be most interested in reading about - leave a comment and share your thoughts, I’ll 100% reply! Did you like this post from One Person Business? Please tell a friend. Word of mouth is the only way people find out about this. Chances are it’s how you found this. Thank you! 🚀 |
