It's not a real trend. There's 0 data to show the phenomenon is new, more prevalent, growing, or anything but a phrase the media had success co-opting & amplifying.

Just like "Millennial," or "Gen Z" it's pure semantic, buzzword baloney.

Ended work with a company today where we increased traffic to the site 600% YoY. Messaging and positioning aren't dialed in yet, so no matter how much (relevant & solution seeking) traffic we drove, we couldn't create pipeline. Just didn't make sense to keep us on retainer.
