Instagram Navigation Changes

In February, Instagram will be updating its navigation to improve the user experience for sharing and connecting with friends and interests.

The navigation bar located at the bottom of the app will feature a central shortcut for creating content, with the Reels feature now located to the right. As a result of this change, the Instagram Shop tab will no longer be present.

However, users and businesses will still be able to set up and operate shops on Instagram, as the platform continues to prioritize and invest in valuable shopping experiences across features such as feed, stories, reels, ads, and more.

🧭 Here is more news you can use:

  • Facebook and Instagram Ads: Meta is restricting the targeting options advertisers have to reach teens, as well as the information we use to show ads to teens.
  • YouTube Partner Program: The platform delivered updated contract terms to monetizing creators.
