What consumers want from their subscriptions in 2024
Consumers are telling publishers and brands they want more flexibility and transparency from content providers amid rising prices. According to a new survey of 5,000 U.S. subscribers, video streaming platforms remain the most popular consumer subscriptions, followed by retail subscriptions. However, 57% have discontinued their subscriptions because of anticipated price hikes. But when publishers and brands get it right, they see subscription adoption, especially in streaming video on demand and retail.
